4.50 Kempton Crown
Counsel 2pt win 6/1 generally
We put Crown Counsel up as a bet a few weeks ago, only for
him to be declared a non-runner after banging his head in the horse box. The reasoning behind the bet that day, was
that he’s a well handicapped horse from a top yard, that was in form.
If anything the stable are in even better form now, having
sent out 8 winners from their last 15 runners.
I have slight concerns that the drop in trip won’t be ideal, but from
stall 1, providing he breaks well, he should be able to sit close to the pace,
and will hopefully prove himself to be too good for today’s opposition.
